With 25 years of music industry experience, Kathryn Waugh has provided rights management and clearances services to an expansive range of clients and productions. From indie recording artists and songwriters to industry execs and major film/television productions, Kathryn’s understanding of world-wide copyright, royalties and the ever-changing market have made her a valuable asset to her clients and their needs.
In her role as a Music Publisher, Kathryn has worked with a wide variety of artists and clients including Tom Waits, David Foster, Aerosmith, The Tragically Hip and Sesame Street. Kathryn understands how to build a successful catalogue while remaining true to the artist’s vision.
Kathryn has also developed and taught post-secondary courses for some of the most prominent music business schools in the Greater Toronto Area. She is currently the Program Coordinator for Durham College’s Music Business Management program, where she also teaches. Kathryn is passionate about sharing her knowledge and helping others achieve their dreams, which is furthered through her development of industry workshops and networking events.
