Trade Show 

A multifaceted trade show that features a variety of vendor booths from all over Durham Region! Free admission as a part of our Music Summit!


A vendor trade show with a variety of vendor booths as an extension of Oshawa Music Week’s Music Summit. 


Trade Show is included with the Music Summit Ticket.

Music Summit

A conference that offers insight from active personnel in the continuous evolving music business industry. Industry professionals explore topics such as How it’s made, How it’s heard and How it’s earned. Whether you are an artist, music professional or simply someone who is passionate about the industry, this event is your gateway from learning from the best! Join us in the Global Classroom for a day of informative insight and networking opportunities. 


How it’s made: A Session about the creation of a song from an artist, artist manager and a music producer. 


How it’s heard: Strategies to to promote one’s music across traditional forms (radio & live music) or through the digital streaming era.


How it’s earned: Discussions about the legalities of the music business with entertainment lawyers, music publishers and music marketers. 


Artist Demo Listening Session


Want to have feedback on your music demos from real life music industry personnel? Do you want to witness a major part of the music industry in front of your eyes? The Artist Demo Listening Session is a must-see event offered as a part of our Music Summit!


Intimate-like setting for an immersive listening experience where emerging artists and music consumers can witness real-time feedback from Canadian music industry personnel on artist demos.


Demo listening session is included with the Music Summit Ticket & if interested they can also submit their track for demo. How to submit: Upload your demo in wav file + lyric sheet (if applicable).

  • To have your mix considered for review, please send your WAV file by April 10th using the provided submission link (available to registered attendees). Include the specified snippet/hook of the song, clearly indicating the exact start and end time (min/sec), a short description of the song (no more than 150 words), and full credits.

Important Notes:

• Only mixes submitted by registered attendees will be eligible.

• Not all submissions will be reviewed due to time constraints.

Parking is available at Commencement Lot. When entering the school grounds, turn left when facing the bus loop and the parking lot is to your right.
