Nando Pontin is a Brazilian musician, music producer, and engineer currently based in Porto Alegre, RS.

Nando's love for music began when he was 10 years old and started studying keyboard. Over the years, he also took electric and acoustic guitar classes, studied music theory and singing. When he was 17, he joined the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) to study Electrical Engineering, which led him to study music production, sound synthesis, recording, and acoustics. At the University, he taught music production courses and assisted in laboratory research for two years, which helped him at writing a paper about Tube Amps for Guitar. The project opened the doors of the British amplifier factory for guitar and bass Hiwatt, where he worked as a development engineer in London between 2006 and 2007.

After coming back to Brazil, he started "Studio Nando", where he makes audio and video recordings, and worked with some acts in the local scene as Vera Loca, Sleepwalkers, Creedenceados, and Gaby Ferreira & The Pollainas.

As a musician, in 2017 he founded Black Bell Tone, where he plays guitar, composes, and does music production.
