Tyler Connolly is a Canadian musician best known as a lead vocalist/guitarist/songwriter for the rock band Theory Of A Deadman. Since the inception of the band in 2001, Connolly has been a major force in the rock world as both a songwriter & performer. Over the course of nearly two decades, Theory’s impressive catalogue has earned them several platinum and gold singles, a platinum album, and four #1s on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart with the singles like “Bad Girlfriend” and “Lowlife.” Theory's 2017 LP Wake Up Call debuted at #4 on Billboard’s Top Alternative Albums Chart and was nominated for Best Rock Album at the Juno Awards in Canada the following year. Additionally, the album spawned a #1 Mainstream Rock radio hit with “Rx (Medicate)” which planted itself atop the chart for six weeks straight — it has since been certified Platinum in both the US & Canada. Along the way, he has toured with everybody from Alter Bridge, Stone Sour and Godsmack to Daughtry and Mötley Crüe. Most recently, the band released their seventh album Say Nothing via Atlantic Records in January 2020. Already being hailed as their best album to date, the 10-track collection finds them speaking up through timely lyrical commentary that finds the band’s finger on the pulse of the current climate and the issues that our society is grappling with today. The first single off the record, “History of Violence” reached #1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart in February. Two more singles followed, “World Keeps Spinning” and “Strangers featuring Zero 9:36”, each reaching top-25 positions.
